What is the "Waldron’s Test" used for?

  • Testing for the Presence of patellofemoral syndrome/ runner’s knee.

How to perform the "Waldron’s Test"?

  • Patient is standing.
  • Examiner palpates the patella while the patient performs knee bends

What is the positive result?

  • POSITIVE SIGN: Presence of pain, crepitus, poor patellar tracking.
