How to perform the "Bicipital Aponeurosis Flex Test"?
- Patient is asked to make a fist and actively flex the wrist with a supinated forearm.
- While maintaining the flexed wrist and hand, the patient is asked to flex the elbow and maintain it in 75 degrees of flexion.
- The examiner palpates the medial part of the antecubital fossa for the sharp, thin edge of the aponeurosis.
What is the positive result?
- Absence of palpable sharp thin edge of the aponeurosis on the medial part of the antecubital fossa
