What is the “Coracoid Impingement Test” used for?
- Subcoracoid Impingement (between the rotator cuff and the coracoid process)
How to perform the “Coracoid Impingement Test”?
- It is performed in a manner similar to the Hawkins-Kennedy impingement test.
- The arm is forward flexed 90 degrees and adducted 10 to 20 degrees across the body to bring the lesser tuberosity into contact with the coracoid.
What is the positive result?
- Pain with the maneuver indicates coracoid impingement
